house/community
the scene
hacker-house events and the toronto calendar. what we run, what we back, what's worth leaving the house for.
from the house
double down is a hacker house in toronto. weekly coworks, build nights, demo days. events are the front door. show up once and you're in the loop.

on the wire
running since 2025. every event lands on the wall below. the public record beats the pitch.
built with, not backed by
clay, cursor, supabase, elevenlabs, ai tinkerers, microsoft. companies that showed up for a session, a venue, some tool credits. past event collaborators. not sponsors, not endorsements.
how a night works
every event runs the same loop. no talks for the sake of talks.
rsvp
one tap on luma. most nights are free.
build
bring a laptop or just opinions. pair up on whatever's live.
demo
the night ends with what got built. demos over slides.
one calendar, many rooms
the rail below pulls from public luma calendars across toronto. ours plus the ones we'd actually attend. fetched on the server, refreshed weekly.
feed/luma
up next
drag the rail. every card is a real rsvp link. ours and the rest of the city's.
